EXEL Industries: A leading world group

Founded in 1987 in the heart of the Champagne wine region, EXEL Industries provides precision spraying equipments to three complementary markets – farming, industry and consumers.

Our company has become the world leader in precision spraying techniques for Plant Protection and is now ranked third worldwide for Materials Protection.

EXEL Industries employs 2,600 people, including about 40% outside France. It operates 17 production sites all over the World, and has locations in 23 countries. 6% of our staff is assigned to Research and Development, which accounts for 4% of group’s sales.

In order to be able to finance acquisitions and increase its presence internationally, EXEL Industries made an initial public offering on Paris’s stock exchange on June 20, 1997. Its stock is now included in the SBF250 index.
